CODE OF CONDUCT OF ESTATE AGENT MEMBER OF ASSOCIATION OF REAL ESTATE OFFICES OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

1. During his activities, an estate agent always acts with expert care, honourably, and in compliance with good morals, the articles of the Association of Real Estate Offices of the Czech Republic, and valid laws of the Czech Republic.
2. Through his actions an estate agent does not harm the justified interests and rights of a client. Our clients' racial, religious, ethnic, political etc. background makes no difference.
3. An estate agent selects such methods of behaviour so that he does not abuse his status to the detriment of his client.
4. Without the consent of the client, an estate agent must not disclose confidential information (not commonly available) provided by the client, even after the end of cooperation.
5. An estate agent is obliged not to disclose information about business cases to third parties, even after they are concluded. An estate agent may be freed of the non-disclosure duty based on this code of conduct by the body of the association for the purposes of proceedings initiated before this body pursuant to the articles of the Association of Real Estate Offices of the Czech Republic.
6. An estate agent cooperates with other estate agents if it is in the interests of the client. During such cooperation, an estate agent does not intentionally harm an estate agent, he respects the fundamentals of good cooperation, politeness, and collegiality.
7. An estate agent does not make commercial bids of his own or of members of his family (close persons) or own firm unless he has familiarised the client with this fact.
8. An estate agent always acts in the interests of the firm that he represents.
9. Through his behaviour an estate agent always represents the firm, the Association of Real Estate Offices of the Czech Republic, and thus also his own person.
10. An estate agent is aware of his responsibility in the process of real estate trading, and so he constantly improves himself in all areas of real estate activity.
